Evesham Swimming Club are celebrating another outstanding team performance after being crowned overall champions at the Worcester Autumn Meet, marking back-to-back victories at the event.
The meet, which welcomes swimmers aged nine and over from across the county, saw Evesham secure the Top Club Trophy for the second consecutive year following a weekend of exceptional racing and team spirit.
Despite two of the club’s fastest swimmers, Jasper Siupa and Milton Xavier Yau, competing elsewhere – representing Worcestershire in Division one of the GoCardless Swim England National County Team Championships, the rest of the team rose to the challenge and achieved a remarkable 110 medals in total, made up of 45 gold, 43 silver and 22 bronze.

There was further success in the individual awards, with Karina Siupa being crowned Top Girl, while teammate Ruby Keetley finished close behind as Runner-Up Top Girl. In the boys’ standings, Leo Czochor delivered a series of strong performances to claim Runner-Up Top Boy.

Head Coach Harry Myers praised the squad’s commitment and togetherness, both in and out of the pool.
“It’s a fantastic achievement to win the Top Club Trophy for the second year running,” said Myers. “The swimmers showed real determination, teamwork and resilience, and we’re incredibly proud of every single one of them.”
The club now looks ahead to the next round of competitions with confidence and excitement for the season ahead.
