Evesham Swimming Club is excited to announce the return of the Evesham Biathlon on Sunday 28 June 2026.

The popular annual event combines running and swimming in a fun and competitive multi-sport challenge, attracting junior and adult competitors from across the region.

The event begins with a 1km or 2km (depending on age) run which, this year, will take place at the Velo Park in Evesham before competitors head to Evesham Leisure Centre for the 100m or 200m (depending on age) swim later in the day.

Participants can compete either as individuals, completing both disciplines themselves, or as part of a Duo team, with one runner and one swimmer joining forces.

Age categories range from 8 - 10 and through to adult categories, making the event accessible for beginners, club athletes and experienced multi-sport competitors alike.

Matt Rice, Vice Chair of Evesham Swimming Club, said:

“We’re really excited to bring the Evesham Biathlon back for 2026. The event has always had a fantastic atmosphere and it’s brilliant to see competitors of all ages getting involved, whether they’re racing competitively or simply taking on a new challenge. The Duo option also makes the event really accessible for people who may prefer either the running or swimming side. We’d encourage anyone interested to sign up and be part of a great day of community sport.”
