Evesham Swimming Club Celebrates Stuart Gregg – West Midlands Volunteer of the Year!

We’re absolutely thrilled to share that our very own Stuart Gregg has been named Volunteer of the Year for the West Midlands!

Stuart has been a volunteer coach at Evesham Swimming Club for around eight years and is one of the most loved and respected members of our ESC family. His positive, motivating approach and brilliant way with the children means he always gets the best out of every swimmer, whether they’re just starting out or chasing county times.

The award was presented by Elaine Gale, Chair of Swim England – West Midlands, who visited the club recently to make the presentation. A large number of members came along early to training to surprise Stu and show their appreciation. Elaine said she was touched by how obvious it was that Stu is so highly thought of by everyone at the club.

Stuart’s next stop is the National Finals at the Swim England National Awards, which take place at the University of Birmingham on Friday 29 November. We’ll be cheering him on all the way and can’t wait to see how he gets on!
