Each Squad has some Criteria attached for entry into the different groups. These are only a guide to help motivate the swimmers in the club and provide aspirational targets. The coaches will ultimately make the final decision on group/squad moves based on a range of factors. An example of these are outlined below:

• Application in training

• Ability to listen and take on board instructions

• Attendance

• Performances at Galas & Open Meets

• Times recorded at galas, open meets, time trials etc. 

• Performance in test sets in training
